A-SAFE is a global manufacturer specialising in advanced safety barriers and bollards for Industrial environments. The Elland-based company, founded in 1984, is known for its innovative polymer-based products designed to protect facilities worldwide. The company continues to work with the biggest names in every industry - such as Amazon, Tesla, Coca Cola and more.

My Role

I started A-SAFE in January 2022 as a Digital Media Specialist for the People Team, filming, conducting and delivering a range of media and graphical content for recruitment campaigns as well as internal company pieces that would be sent across the business. Moving to 2023 I was transferred to the HQ Marketing team to take over as a Visual Designer for Internal Communications, which then eventually led me to run the Internal accounts by myself. I would plan, conduct and schedule all Internal content across the business through our HubSpot CRM system, which led to me not being able to produce or create any media content due to the Marketing Media team growing at that time.

In June 2024, I was made redundant from the business due to the new marketing structure which was being put in place for the business and my role as a Visual Designer was no longer part of that plan.
